EXPERIENCE: (Issues & Sector/Industry) Has served as a neutral in numerous impasse disputes pursuant to public sector collective bargaining laws in the states of Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Kansas. Has been a full-time arbitrator since 1975, with substantial experience in both the private and public sectors. Is listed with the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service and the American Arbitration Association for private sector grievances; & with the appropriate listing agencies in the states of MN, IA, WI, IN, KS & MI. Has been retained by the Iowa Public Employment Relations Board as an ad-hoc mediator for three years, in addition to participating in Wisconsin's Med-Arb process. Permanent panel with Ford Motor Company, Thermo King Corporation and the State of Minnesota; State of Iowa/AFSCME; Hawthorne/ Mellody Inc./Teamsters; Special Security Administration/AFGE; Veterans Administration/AFGE; Tinker Air Force Base/AFGE; and Federal Aviation Administration/Professional Airways Systems Specialists; TWA/Flight Attendants; Northern States Power/IBEW; and Lockheed Martin/OCAW.

FEE AND EXPENSE PRACTICE:

$1000 per diem

Cancellation – If the hearing date(s) is established and thereafter either canceled or postponed within thirty calendar days of the confirmed date(s), the per diem rate of $950 applies for each day that has been reserved. (This fee is to be shared equally between the parties for either a cancellation or postponement.)

Travel - Air fare and/or mileage charges as they occur (does not bill for travel time, but does bill for travel-related expenses.)

Typing - As billed

NOTE:            The arbitrator shall not charge any fee other than the above stated fees.
