Mediation:     Mediated over 700 public sector collective bargaining agreements, including mediation of labor contracts between the State of Iowa and State employes. Mediation experience also includes grievance mediation and mediation of prohibited practice complaints (unfair labor practice), unit determinations, bargaining representative determination, declaratory ruling petitions, and negotiability disputes filed with the Iowa PERB. Also serve as trainer and facilitator of joint labor/management committees and interest-based bargaining.

FEE AND EXPENSE PRACTICE:

          Per diem: $550, plus actual expenses

          Cancellation – One day per diem if case cancelled prior to scheduled hearing date

 

NOTE:                   The arbitrator shall not charge any fee other than the above stated fees.
