EXPERIENCE: (Issues & Sector/Industry)
Since 1974, have arbitrated and mediated extensively in both the public and private sectors in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota, involving grievance, interest, unfair labor practice, and election and unit clarification disputes. The public sector disputes involve both general and security and public safety employees.
Prior employment includes 1974 – 2001 WERC arbitrator, mediator and hearing examiner; 1971‑1974 Assistant Manager of Labor Relations for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company; and 1968‑1971 Chrysler Corporation with both corporate and plant assignments in industrial relations.
FEE AND EXPENSE PRACTICE:
$1,000 for 8-hour day, plus travel if in excess of 8-hour hearing day. $125 per hour in mediation cases
Cancellation - $1,000 within 14 calendar days of scheduled hearing
Actual Expenses (mileage at IRS rate)
NOTE: The arbitrator shall not charge any fee other than the above stated fees.
