The grievance awards on this site consist of grievance awards issued by WERC-employed arbitrators from July, 1989, to the present, with two exceptions. A few awards have been excluded because they are not public documents based on trade secret grounds. Several others have been excluded because they constitute consent awards memorializing agreements reached by the parties, rather than a determination of the issues by the arbitrator. The awards on this site are in PDF, and accessible both through linked lists or by means of a search of the full archive with the State of Wisconsin's Ultraseek search engine. The WERC grievance awards database on the WisBar website offers the same set of awards, but in HTML and native word processor formats, with full-text searching of the HTML files and separate annual indexes based on employer, date, arbitrator.

Cautionary notes: While every effort has been made to provide accurate and complete decision files, the user should be aware of some possible limitations on the reliability of these files. Those documents do not constitute information certified by WERC to be true and correct in all respects, and they are not official copies of the documents involved. The official copies of those documents are those on file in hard copy form at the Commission's Madison office. Except for those documents with page numbers appearing in the upper right-hand corner of the page as a part of the text itself, the pagination of the PDF files cannot be relied on as entirely consistent with that in the original document.
