Peter G. Davis was appointed to serve as the Chairman of the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission on September 9, 2025. Davis is currently serving a 6-year term expiring on March 1, 2031. Davis joined the Commission as a staff attorney after his graduation from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1975. He served as the agency’s General Counsel from 1981 through September 2017; thereafter, his duties included hearing examiner, mediator and arbitrator.

Anfin J. Wise, Staff Attorney, joined WERC in 2022. She started her career in state service in 2007 as a State Public Defender, then as an Administrative Law Judge with the Department of Workforce Development, and most recently as Legal Counsel at the Department of Administration. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004 and a Juris Doctor degree from University of Wisconsin Law School in 2007.

Cara J. Larson, Staff Attorney, joined WERC in 2025. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2004 and a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2010. Before to joining WERC, she served as an Administrative Law Judge with the Department of Workforce Development, Equal Rights Division, and with the Department of Administration, Division of Hearings and Appeals. Earlier in her career, she was Legal Counsel at the Department of Administration and an Assistant District Attorney with the Dane County District Attorney’s Office.
